Your whole list, from the chat.

Everything goes through your Diurnal account and lands on your Mac.

  • Read your list

Today, any day, the week, everything without a date, or a search across titles, notes and tags.

  • Add, edit and finish tasks

Create tasks with a day or a time, move them, retag them, mark them done or delete them.

  • Read your calendar

It sees your Google Calendar events to plan around them, and never changes them.

  • You stay in charge

Its changes say “AI assistant” in a task’s history. Disconnect it any time in Settings › Account.

03 / Questions

Which AI apps work with Diurnal?

Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, and any app that can add a remote MCP server with sign-in.

Do I need the Mac app?

Yes. You create your Diurnal account in the Mac app, and the MCP server works on that same list.

Can it change my calendar?

No. It reads your Google Calendar events and leaves them as they are.

Does my AI app see my password?

No. You sign in on a Diurnal page, and the app gets its own key, which you can turn off any time in Settings › Account.
