Your account on the website
Sign in to your Diurnal account on diurnal.in, see what you haven't tried yet and a few numbers about your tasks, and sign out.
The website has a page for your Diurnal account. It uses the same account as the apps.
- Go to diurnal.in/sign-in, or click Account at the top of the home page. On a phone, it's in the menu.
- Enter your email and password and click Sign in, or click Continue with Google.
You stay signed in on that browser for 30 days, then sign in again.
- "That email and password don't match." Check both and try again.
- "This account uses Google. Continue with Google." Your account has no password; use Google instead.
- "Finish creating your account in the Diurnal app first." Type the six-digit code Diurnal emailed you in the app, then sign in here.
To make an account with an email and password, get the app first. Continue with Google needs no app: if your Google address has no Diurnal account yet, it makes one. If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? on the sign-in page, or email support@diurnal.in from your account's address.
What the page shows
Three parts, top to bottom:
- Try next: up to three things Diurnal can do that your account isn't using yet, like connecting an AI app or Google Calendar. Click a card to see how to start. Start using one and its card goes away. A card can come back if you stop: disconnect Google Calendar, for example, and its card returns.
- Your numbers: Done in the last 7 days, Done all time, Open, Projects and Connected AI apps. A repeating task counts once for each day you complete it. The last 7 days count back from the moment you open the page. Reload the page to see the latest numbers.
- Profile and plan: your Name, Email and how you sign in (Signs in with), and beside them your Plan, with a Compare plans link.
To change your name, use Settings › Account in the Mac app. See Account settings.
Sign out
Click Sign out on your account page. This signs out that browser only. Signing out of an app doesn't sign the website out, and signing out here doesn't sign out your apps.
Deleting your account also signs you out of the website. See Delete your account.
