Using Diurnal

Search

Find any Diurnal task by its title, notes or tags, finished or not.

Press ⌘F anywhere in Diurnal and type. Press ⌘F again to go back to writing.

  • Search looks through every task's title, notes and tags, including finished ones. Capital letters don't matter.
  • Matches in the title come first, then open tasks before finished ones. Up to six results show at a time.
  • Choose a result to jump to the task, highlighted where it lives: on the pad, in Coming up, in Plan, or in Done. If a filter was hiding it, the filter clears.

Search covers your tasks, not your calendar events.
