Tag Diurnal tasks with

Tags are labels like #home or #work. A task can have several.

Tag a task

Type # on a task's first line. A card lists your tags; keep typing to narrow it, then pick one.

  • Typing #name only tags the task if the tag already exists. Any other #word stays in the title.
  • To make a new tag, choose Create "#name" from the card, or add it in Settings › Tags.
  • A # in a task's notes is just text.

Use tags

  • On the Write lens, click Filter and choose tags to show only those tasks.
  • Plan › All time groups open tasks by their first tag.
  • AI apps you connect see your tags, so they reuse yours.

Manage tags

Rename, recolour, delete or turn a tag into a project in Tags settings. Tags sync to every Mac you use.

Projects

Group tasks into Diurnal projects with a colour and a deadline, track progress, and finish, reopen or delete a project.

Recurring tasks

Make a Diurnal task repeat on chosen weekdays, complete or skip one day, change the repeat, or stop it.
